Music:  vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. The written or printed signs representing vocal or instrumental sound.

 

sound effects: a sound other than speech or music made artificially for use in a play, movie, or other broadcast production.

 

voice- over-: a piece of narration in a movie or broadcast, not accompanied by an image of the speaker.

 

alerts & prompts: warn (someone) or something, and done without delay; immediate.

Audio Recording

analog: a comparison between two things, typically on the basis of their structure and for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

digital: (of signals or data) expressed as series of the digits 0 and 1, typically represented by values of a physical quantity such as voltage or magnetic polarization. (of a clock or watch) showing the time by means of displayed digits rather than hands or a pointer.
